Whole Black Truffle

A whole Tuber melanosporum black truffle, preserved in its natural juice. The queen of winter truffles, chosen for its dark, finely veined flesh. Its aroma is powerful, woody and enveloping. Grated or sliced, it reveals all its nobility on a warm dish. Serve it over buttered pasta, scrambled eggs, foie gras or a risotto, and keep the juice to flavour a sauce.
